Accepted Insurance

The following is a list of insurance companies with which we participate. Note: Due to the constantly changing managed health system, this list may not be all inclusive. If you have any questions about these insurance plans or others, please contact, or have the patient contact, our billing department.

Physical Therapy Specialists is a member of PTPN. PTPN is America's first and largest network of independent rehabilitation providers. Established in 1985, PTPN has built a track record for delivering comprehensive, cost-effective and high quality outpatient rehabilitation services.

• We accept all commercial insurance companies (i.e. Prudential, Cigna, American Community, Humana Healthcare, as well as many others)
• We accept all workers compensation and auto claims, as long as we receive authorization by the carrier.
• We can bill Blue Cross/Blue Shield of MI policies. We will verify this coverage for the patients. Federal Blue Cross, State of Michigan, K-mart, and Messa under Blue Cross also have coverage at our facility. We can bill any Blue Cross General Motors and Ford Motor Company hourly and salaried employees.
• Patients with an insurance policy that includes a Point of Service Plan in their benefit package may be allowed to go to an out of network provider. We would be glad to verify this benefit and or obtain necessary authorization. We will inform the patient if there are any additional co-pays or expenses.
• At the time of reading, we are in negotiations with additional programs such as Blue Care Network as well as M-Care. For more information regarding all of our coverage, please feel free to contact the billing office at Physical Therapy Specialists at any time.
